On December 17 the 6th Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Dr. Ekaterina Koldunova, Acting Director of the ASEAN Centre, Associate Professor at the Department of Asian Studies, MGIMO University, participated in the event.
Among the speakers of the opening ceremony were the Chairman of the Russia-Singapore Business Council Mr. Nikolay Volobuev, Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Padalko, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations Mr. Sergei Cheryomin, Director of the Department for Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Ms. Natalia Stapran and Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Singapore Ms. Olga Kharlamova.
The event was organized by the Russia-Singapore Business Council. It covered various issues related to business, cultural and educational Russia-Singapore relations as well as dedicated to the Russia-ASEAN dialogue partnership. Dr. Ekaterina Koldunova participated in the Plenary Session titled “Asia-Pacific in international relations” covering the topic of “Russia and South-East Asia: Areas for Cooperation in a Post-Pandemic World”.
