A leading Russian academic publishing house “Aspect Press” published a monograph by Dr. Valeria Vershinina, ASEAN Centre’s Expert, titled Regional Organizations in Vietnam’s Foreign Policy: a Middle Powers Concept Perspective.
The monograph presents the results of a profound research dedicated to the role of regional organizations in Vietnam’s foreign policy from a middle powers concept perspective. The monograph reviews the key theoretical approaches to middle powers, highlights the main stages of the concept’s development, and analyzes the role of regional organizations in the foreign policy of middle powers. Considerable attention is paid to Vietnam’s relations with three regional organizations, namely with ASEAN, APEC and ADMM+. The author also studies Vietnam’s foreign policy strategy, its principles, development and transformation.
The book is originally designed for the students of IR, Asian and African studies scholars, historians, lecturers, graduate and postgraduate students.
